Lets do some Beta Human Guys this time:
Dave Strider:
- Bro was Dave’s hero and role-model.
- Dave thought Bro was awesome. Literally the best thing since sliced bread. Bro had never abused Dave, the just had this wonderful Bro to Bro relationship. Bro taught Dave how to fight and taught him to be strong. He used to tell Dave things like “Nothing stops a Strider” and eventually Dave thought this to be true. He was practically sure his Bro was indestructible. He didn’t believe Bro was dead at first because of this. He probably said things like “dude get up, its not funny” and such for awhile thinking Bro’s death was just a sick twisted ironic joke. It took him a bit to realize bro was gone. Bro was Dave’s hero and Dave had always made a stride to be as awesome as Bro. He actually doubted he ever would be.
John Egbert:
- Pre-Game, John and his Dad had the average teenage child/Parent relationship.
- John loved his father but tended to take him for granted. He always thought his father was purposely annoying him and invading his personal space. He found his father extremely creepy as well. He regretted all of this when he couldnt find his father and regretted it even more painfully after losing his dad. When Dad died, John felt a strong urge to make his father proud.Dad was always proud of John.

I thought I’d share my headcanon for voices.
Listen to the characters banter in this video, it’s from Blood Rayne 2, a very entertaining video game, one of my favourites. The gothy babe has two voices, her dominant voice is rather rough and behind that is a whisper. Since Sollux is an obvious Gemini, and has a bit of two worlds within him, it’d make sense if he had a voice alike of Ephemera.
